Sunken trailer

A driver inadvertently backed the trailer carrying his fishing boat and his SUV into Greenwood Lake on Tuesday. It took the Greenwood Lake Police, Fire Department and EMS several hours to unhitch the boat from the submerge trailer and then recover the vehicle. No one was hurt. Pictured here is Greenwood Lake Police Sgt. Al Nicholas instructing the boater to back away from the vehicle. Later, a cable was attached to the SUV so that it could be pulled from the water by a fire truck.
