Warwick - The second-grade students from St. Stephen’s took the annual “Community Walk” recently to learn first-hand how the community and its people work together to provide services. Together with their teacher, Mrs. Limberg, the students made many stops where merchants opened their doors and invited the young inquisitive students in. Among the businesses were: Burger King for a snack; Warwick Valley Auto Body for a lesson on “now not to drive;” Giant Copy; Baby Grand Books; Provident Bank; Warwick Valley Travel and Village Hall, where Mayor Michael Newhard showed the students the Warwick Village Seal and gave it’s history.
