Student historian leads Veterans Day tribute at Greenwood Lake Library this Sunday

    Greenwood Lake — Student Historian Driss El Gheur returns to the Greenwood Lake Public Library this Sunday, Nov. 6, to present the History Channel’s SHOOTOUT! on the history of D-Day and the gut-wrenching moments of World War II, which is part of the History Channel’s war series. A question and answer session will follow the movie and audience participation is encouraged. The program starts at 1 p.m. Registration is required for this free program either in person or by phone at 845-477-8377 Ext. 101. Seating is limited; early registration recommended. This program is suitable for young people (grades 7 and higher) as well as adults. The Greenwood Lake Public Library is located at 79 Waterstone Road in the Village of Greenwood Lake.
