Warwick - For the last several weeks, as part of the Warwick Summer Arts Festival, the village has been populated with 34 mannequins, striking poses under the theme of “People’s Impact on the Environment.” The creations by local artists were placed on shop windows and at various locations throughout downtown. With the close of the festival last weekend, the “Mannequin Project” will now be on display at the Masonic Temple Building on Main Street for the next month, according to festival director Elizabeth Reese. It will be open Saturdays and Sundays by appointment. The exhibit also may tour other communities, if funding can be secured.
