St. Stephen-St. Edward teams complete rewarding season

Warwick — The following teams of St. Stephen-St. Edward School in Warwick had a rewarding 2005-2006 season. The Junior Varsity Girls’ Basketball Team, with a record of 15-4, were banner winners, and took first place in Orange County Parochial School League championships. The Varsity Girls’ took first place in OCPSL championships. They were also first place winners in the Mount Saint Mary Championship Tournament, held on March 11 and 12 at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh. The Junior Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team, with a record of 23-0, enjoyed an undefeated season. They were MPB Kick-off Tournament Champions, banner winners, first place OCPSL Champions, and first place winners in the Mount Saint Mary Championship Tournament. The Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team, with a record of 11-5, were second place winners in the OCPSL, and fourth place winners in the Mount Saint Mary Championship Tournament. The Junior Varsity Cheerleaders achieved a second degree of excellence award in the OCPSL Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, March 11, at Mount Saint Mary College.
