St. Stephen-St. Edward hosts Catholic school week

WARWICK — St. Stephen — St. Edward School will celebrate Catholic Schools Week beginning Sunday, Jan.27 with the theme, “Catholic Schools Light the Way,” and will feature the following events: •An opening mass at St. Stephen’s parish at 9 a.m. on Sunday. •Students will celebrate the week with “Crazy Tie, Sock and Hat” and “Green and White” Spirit day, a pot-luck family dinner and other events, with parents invited to see the students’ environment and work. •The school will also host an open house for new families for prekindergarten through grade six, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. “This is a week where we can show parents and new families who we are and what we do here at St. Stephen — St. Edward School,” said MaryLou Moccia, principal.
