Florida - The students at St. Joseph School in Florida again scored in the top percentile among their peers nationally on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS), testing higher than 80 percent of U.S. elementary school students. In school districts nationally, this test continues to take on more significance when it comes to evaluating a school’s overall performance. “Our students continue to perform very well on these tests,” said Principal Kim McGinnis. “While they are one indicator of many in assessing a child’s overall academic development, we are very pleased to know that St. Joseph School students are in the top 20 percent.”
