Warwick — St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick has been named in the 2005 edition of Solucient’s “100 Top Hospitals: Performance Improvement Leaders,” a study that was published in a recent edition of Modern Healthcare magazine. This is the second year in a row that St. Anthony has been named by Solucient, a provider of strategic business and clinical information for the health care industry. St. Anthony was among the top 100 hospitals identified for developing consistent and effective organization-wide performance improvement across critical measures, at a faster rate than other U.S. hospitals over a five year period. Solucient’s study analyzed acute care hospitals nationwide, using detailed empirical performance data from 1999 to 2005, including publicly available Medicare MedPAR data and Medicare cost reports.
