Spring gala to benefit St. Anthony Community Hospital on April 29

Warwick St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick will host its Annual Spring Ball at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at the Sheraton Crossroads in Mahwah, N.J., which overlooks the Ramapo Valley. The event will feature live musical entertainment, dancing, live and silent auctions and other surprises. The spring ball committee, whose ranks have tripled in the past few years, has been working hard to make this year’s event a success. Proceeds will be used to help fund the modernization and expansion of St. Anthony Community Hospital’s emergency room. The planned improvements are part of the overall modernization of the hospital to better serve the community. One of the highlights at the annual gala has been honoring members of the community for their support and leadership. The honors recognize civic and medical leaders who maintain good standing within the community, support the Warwick Healthcare Campus, and are committed to fulfilling the Bon Secours mission of offering “good help to those in need.” The hospital will honor Mrs. Morris R. Bradner Jr., with the 2006 Caring For Life Award in recognition of her long time support, through the Bradner Heart Fund and the St. Anthony Community Hospital Auxiliary. The medical professional honorees will be Dr. Ming C. Chiou and Dr. Chining H. Huang. “These are three of the most deserving people in our community,” said Leah Cerkvenik, executive vice president and administrator of the Warwick Healthcare Campus. The spring gala also offers sponsorship and journal advertising opportunities for individuals and businesses. Call 987-5676 for further information.
