World's Oldest trotting track, right in your backyard, is ready to race

It's not everyday you get to watch races at the oldest active trotting track in the world. Catch the Matinee Races at the Goshen Historic Track on June 3, 10, and 17, and Grand Circuit Harness Races on June 29 and 30 and July 1 and 2. Post time is 1 p.m. Ulysses S. Grant had fun visiting this track in 1873. The track, adjacent to the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, celebrates harness racing by offering a year-round training center and live racing every June and July. The track shares the same hallowed ground and a common mission of renewing interest in the Standardbred. (Historic Track Facebook photo)
