Women's bowling club announces tournament winners

Kiamesha Lake — Fifty-eight bowlers participated in the 19th annual tournament and meeting of the Orange Sullivan Women’s 500 Bowling Club, held at Kiamesha Lanes in Kiamesha Lake on Nov. 13. Winners in each division are as follows: Open Division 1st place — Patricia Watch 665 2nd place — Carol Schaefer 659 3rd place — Andrea Grossman 648 4th place — Suzette Porter 626 Division A 1st place — Barbara Gorczynski 675 2nd place — Margaret Guidone 671 3rd place — Jean Greco 667 4th place — Jeanette Johnson 649 5th place — Sue Westerman 645 6th place (tie) — Marion Cruver 625 6th place (tie) — Merri Lou Loving 625 6th place (tie) — Jeniva Perrot 625 6th place (tie) — Joan Poloniak 625 Division B 1st place — Jan Couto 686 2nd place — Karen Yahnke 642 Division C 1st place — Nancy Butler 662 2nd place — Lottie Durland 658 Division D 1st place — Sandra Short 656 High Game (Scratch) — Patricia Watch 222 Patricia Watch also had a Scratch Series of 620. The following officers for 2006 were chosen during elections: Board of Directors: president — Roberta Bull, vice-president — Shirley Morse, secretary/treasurer — Barbara Korycki, sergeant-at-arms — Dolores Weslowski. Directors: Marilyn Quackenbush, Jan Couto, Merri Lou Loving, Rose Revella, Mari-Jane Conklin, and Mary Ellen Rutledge. Next year’s tournament will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at Callicoon Lanes. The New York State 500 Bowling Club Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006, in Poughkeepsie.
