Winning streak ends at O'Neill

Chester The girls’ winning streak came to an abrupt end on the road at James I. O’Neill High School in Fort Montgomery. Chester’s Girls Modified Softball team came from behind with a walk by Alicia Mulvey, followed RBI hit by Sami 6reen to tie the game. Codie Laden and Brendina Kyles scored but it was not enough to stay ahead. Good defensive play was demonstrated by the catcher, Danielle Gomez, as she threw out a runner at third. Shortstop Nicole Rosenberg made an outstanding catch. Codie Laden, Sammy Clarke, and Alicia Mulvey led the team with 2 hits each. Pitcher Dana Martin struck out 10 and gave up only 4 hits to end the game with a score of 8-4.
