Wildcats defeat Minisink by a point, 22-21

WARWICK - The Warwick Valley Wildcats began the defense of their Class AA Division II title with a 22-21 win over Minisink Valley last week. Matt Stranski's two-yard touchdown and subsequent two-point conversion run early in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference as they won their first game of the season. Ryan Darcey also scored on a 12-yard run and Shaun Barrett hopped on a fumble in the end zone for their other score. Tonight, the Wildcats travel to Hyde Park and play FDR in another Division II match-up. Kick off is 7:30 p.m.
