Wildcats defeat FDR in Homecoming Contest by a score of 33-7

— Quarterback Joe Miller was awarded the game ball at the Homecoming Dance Saturday night for an outstanding performance - three touchdown passes - earlier in the day in the Wildcats' 33-7 victory against F.D. Roosevelt High School from Hyde Park.
Gregory Sirico had two touchdown receptions and Anthony McGee had one in Miller's air assault. Kyle Rooney also scored an 80-yard touchdown rin in the second quarter.
Warwick defensive back Jordan Pinskey intercepted the FDR quarterback for a 50-yard return for a touchdown.
Matt Meade capped the scoring with three extra point conversions.
The Warwick defense played outstanding, led by Rob Maslanka who tallied 12 total tackles. Grant Dolshun contributed eight tackles, and Devin Boone and Dean Dulgerian each added seven total tackles.
A great job by kick–off specialist Percy Torres with six kick–offs totaling 300 yards.
Next: The 3-0 Wildcats will travel to Cornwall Friday night, Sept. 21, for a 7 p.m. kick–off.
