Wildcat Girls Basketball program earns 'AAA' Award as the school's top varsity scholar-athletic team

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Wildcat Girls Basketball Team earned the Purple and Gold “AAA” Award for academics and athletic achievement as the top varsity scholar–athlete team in the school district.
The NYSPHSAA Standards calculate the weighted averages, using grades required from 75 percent of the team and developing the average (required format by New York State).
The Girls Varsity Basketball average was 98.90 using the following in season averages:
Hannah Davis (103.8)
• Demi Herasme (94.0)
• Greer Liguori (99.68)
• Shannon McNally (97.56)
• Taylor Nelson (104.28)
• Julianna Noone (93.69)
• Katelyn Pinskey (103.56)
• Brittany Tagg (95.16)
• Emily Welling (98.31).
The team was coached by Jim O’Brien.
"Congratulations, Lady Wildcats, for success on the court and in the classroom," Athletic Director Gregory Sirico said.
