Warwick Youth Lacrosse players cheer on the Black Knights at West Point

WEST POINT — On May 3, the U11 and U13 Warwick Youth Lacrosse teams cheered on the Black Knights at in their game against John Hopkins University at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
While the Black Knights lost 9-4 to John Hopkins Blue Jays, the Warwick youth lacrosse players had the opportunity to see top skills in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) lacrosse.
While the excitement of NCAA Lacrosse gave the boys a vision of what to strive for in their futures, the highlight of the evening was when the Warwick Youth Lacrosse teams had the opportunity to scrimmage on the fields of the United States Military Academy.
Warwick Youth Lacrosse also used this opportunity to give back to their community by running a food drive during the event. The boys all contributed canned goods which were donated to the Warwick United Methodist Church.
