Warwick Valley varsity lacrosse goalie Emma Brown is the 'Student-Athlete of the Week'

WARWICK — Emma Brown is Warwick Valley High School "Student–Athlete of the Week" through the program sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency.

The senior lacrosse captain and goalie is a three-sport four-year varsity standout for the Warwick Wildcats.

Emma has anchored the Wildcat Girls Lacrosse Team as a four-year varsity starter and Section 9’s top female goalie.

The Wildcats are 8-2 and undefeated in Division II heading into a key showdown with Monroe-Woodbury this week at Tom Lorgan Field (Sanfordville Elementary).

Emma was also a key contributor to the Wildcats Girls Basketball division title. She also led team to 13 wins in tennis this year as a top doubles player.

Emma has committed to St. Mary’s College in Southern Maryland where she will continue to play lacrosse at the prestigious school near Solomon’s Island.

She is the daughter of Jennifer and Todd Brown of Warwick. Her brother Todd is a graduate of Warwick (Class of 2011) and her sister Avery is in the 5th grade in Warwick Middle School.
