Warwick player wins junior boys title

WEST MILFORD The 14th Annual West Milford Museum Tennis Tournament concluded on June 4. A total of 102 players competed in categories for juniors, adults, and seniors. The tournament was hosted by the West Milford Heritage Committee for the benefit of the West Milford Museum Project. Approximately $4,500 was raised for the project. The 2006 Tournament Sponsors were Butler Chrysler Jeep, Lakeland Bank, and Investors Marketplace. Category Sponsors included Applebee’s of Butler, Blue Ribbon Trophies & Awards, Columbia Bank, Eastern Propane, Harvest Moon Health Foods, Keykeeper & Keybridge Corps., Nu-Star Electric, Robert L. Moshman, Attorney, Dr. Ira Schiowitz, Podiatrist, Warwick Valley Racquet Sports, West Milford Democratic Club, and West Milford Republican Club. “Hole-In-One” Sponsors were Coyote’s Cove and Vander Platt - Stickle Memorial Home. Robo-Vision, Inc. sponsored the luncheon for the players and guests. Tournament supporters were Blockbuster of West Milford, Councilman Robert Nolan, The Newfoundland School, Marilyn Lichtenberg, and the Interact Club of West Milford.
