WARWICK — On Saturday, April 25, Jeremy Acosta, 12, who plays for the Warwick Little League major Yankees team, pitched a no-hitter against Florida Little League, striking out 13 in a 9-0 win.

"No hitters are not the norm," said his dad Junio Acosta, a manager for the team. "You maybe get one a year in the majors which consist of 11-12-year-olds. And approximately 140 games combine in the majors division a year."
