Warwick Girls Minor League All-Stars
Each year the Warwick Little League players vote for the top five players from their respective team whose skills and accomplishments during the 11-game regular season warrant their nomination to the all-star team. The Girls’ Minor League All-Star team, comprised of young athletes, aged 9 and 10, who work hard all year to improve their softball skills, represented Warwick in the National Little League tournament. The rigorous preparation began at the end of the regular season and included seven practice and as well as a great amount of commitment from each of the players. The team entered the tournament against at team from Walkill Area and then against one from Goshen. Although the team did not advance, the girls played well against strong competition. The team included, in alphabetical order: Taylor Bamberger, Farrell Brenner, Dana Calabrese, Makenna DiGuilio, Rebecca Holzhauer, Nicole Jacklitsch, Jaime Rinaldi, Madison Ryback, Caroline Seeberg, Jenna Triplett, and Anne Walker. Taylor, Farrell, Makenna, Rebecca, Madison and Caroline are two-time all-stars. The team manager was Ty Ryback and the coach was Scott Bamberger. (Photo provided by Ty Ryback)
