Warwick gains Home Rink Advantage

Referee Tony Romagnino, who also is the president of the Monroe-Woodbury Roller Hockey League, is set to drop the ball for a face-off in the first game of roller hockey.

The new Roller Hockey rink opened May 18, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. The event, organized by John DeLucia of Warwick, drew 28 men and one woman to play in the first game on the new rink in Warwick Town Park. Anyone interested can go to rollerhockey.net or call DeLucia for more information at 988-9533. Roller hockey is played every Sunday at 2:30; teams are forming now.
