Warwick 'Fore the Animals' golf outing set for May 6

    The Foot Spa and Tea Bar and The Warwick Valley Humane Society are accepting registrations for their fourth annual “Fore the Animals” Golf outing. The event will take place on Monday, May 6, at the Mansion Ridge Golf Club, located at 1292 Orange Turnpike in Monroe.
    Check in begins at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
    The cost is $135 per golfer or $500 per foursome. That includes breakfast, 18 holes of golf, cart and beverages during golf.
    Lunch and awards will follow in the clubhouse.
    Teams of four will compete in a scramble format with prizes awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin.
    For those who are interested to join the event for lunch only, there will be a $40 fee.
    In addition, a hole-in-one car giveaway contest is donated by Leo Kaytes Ford.
    All proceeds from the outing will support the Warwick Valley Humane Society in its efforts to provide a temporary safe haven for unwanted, neglected, abused and lost pets, including injured, ill and orphaned wildlife.
