Warwick Football announces signees
WARWICK — Three Warwick Valley senior football players made their college decision this week, signing National Letters of Commitment for the fall of 2017.
Quarterback Gene Decker will be attending Western Connecticut State in Danbury, Conn.
Decker paced the Wildcat offense, passing for more than 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior.
Nick Parchinski will be attending Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts. Parchinski was a two-year starter at linebacker and played multiple offensive positions. He chose Western New England over Stone Hill College, Kutztown and Susquehanna University.
Warwick defensive back and wide receiver Tyler Williams will attend Hudson Valley in upstate Troy. Williams led the Wildcats with three punt/kick-off returns for touchdowns and was one of Warwick’s most explosive players.

Recruited by Eric Coach Crandall where they expected Gene to compete for the starting QB position as a sophomore. Western Connecticut State competes in the NCAA Liberty Football conference.
Decker plans to study business.

• Recognized by NYSPHSAA as a Scholar - Athlete
• Raised $2000 for cancer research as senior project

Nick ParchinskiWarwick two-season standout (football and track and field)
Western New England Competes in the New England Football Conference (NEFC) of the NCAA. They were 10–0 in 2016 and Conference Champions – Lost to Alfred in the National Playoffs (11 -1)
Career highlights as an athlete
• Two-year starter as linebacker and running/H-back
• Selected All Division by Section 9 Coaches Association
• Compiled 225 total offensive yards versus Ithaca High School.
• Selected to the Section 9 Exceptional Senior Game
• All Division Selection from Section 9 Coaches Association
Recruited by Josh Borreli, Defensive Backs Coach of WNE. Chose Western New England over Susquehanna, Stone Hill and Kutztown.
He plans to study finance and business and compete as an inside/outside linebacker for the Golden Bears.

• Achieved honor roll status eight quarters of his years at Warwick.

Tyler WilliamsWarwick two-season standout (football and outdoor track)
National Letter of Commitment to Attend Hudson Valley of Troy and compete for the Vikings in Football. Hudson Valley is one of the premier junior college football program in the country (along with Nassau in Long Island) with a reputation for placing student–athletes from Division III to Division I (Michigan, Albany, West Virginia and Alabama A&M).

Recruited by Michael Muehling, Head Football Coach Hudson Valley. Hudson Valley competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association where they have competed for National Titles. He plans to study Communication. Chose HV over Brockport and Misercordia.

• Two-year starter at defensive back and slot receiver.
• Had three punt returns for touchdowns in his career.
