Warwick - Warwick Fire U12 Boys finished their first season in the East Hudson Youth Soccer League undefeated with a record of 7 wins and 2 ties. Having moved from the Hudson Valley League in search of stronger competition, the Fire again won their division in convincing fashion. “I am very proud of our boys and the team’s record,” said Coach Tony Blomfield. “They attend every practice, work hard and have grown both individually and as a team over the past two years. They are a great bunch of lads to work with.” The team is now playing an indoor season at Turf City in Wayne, N.J., where they are 2-0 so far. “We expect one or two players may move on in the spring,” Blomfield said, “so the team will be holding tryouts early next year and would be happy to hear from players interested in joining the team, which will continue to play in the EHYSL U12 division.” Blomfield can be contacted at 988-9520 or by e-mail at wsc_fire_soccer@yahoo.com.
