Varsity tennis captain Juliana Marcolino named 'Student-Athlete of the Week'

WARWICK — Juliana Marcolini has been selected as the Warwick Valley High School's "Student-Athlete of the Week" under the program sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency.
Juliana is in her fourth year of varsity tennis serving as team captain. Her record as first singles player is 10–4 which mirrors the teams overall record heading into the county tournament.
Juliana will enter the county and sectional tournament as a doubles player with Caroline Seeberg and defend the Wildcat’s Tennis Doubles' title from 2012 (Juliana and Teammate Jean Marie McCarthy).
This weekend Juliana and her teammates from the girls lacrosse team won the Wildcat Apple Fest shoot out on the high school campus.
Juliana has a 92.3 overall Grade Point Average while taking AP Biology, AP Language and pre-calculus.
In her limited free time she plays varsity basketball and lacrosse; she also is the statistician for the Wildcat football team.
She has been recognized by the NYSPHSAA as a Scholar Athlete for tennis, lacrosse and basketball (90 average or better in season).
Juliana is the daughter of Michael and Deidre Marcolini of Warwick. Her sister Cassidy is a freshman at Warwick Valley High School.
