WARWICK — Many baseball fans insist that pitchers usually have the advantage over hitters at the beginning of a season, and this has held true for Warwick Little League’s 2013 season.

Two pitchers threw no hitters in the same week.

In the minor league division, Jack Scotto of the Dodgers no-hit the Rays on April 19, winning the game 10-0. Jack walked one batter while striking out 11.

In the major league division, James Pinelli of the A’s dominated by striking out 16 hitters on April 21. The only base runner he allowed came from a batter reaching first on a dropped third strike.
