Warwick High School seniors Sean Ginley and Nikolai Quigley qualified for the Boys State Golf Championships.

Ginley shot a 76, which was the second lowest score of the day. He finished with a 156 total for the two-day tournament and finished in fifth place overall.

Quigley shot a final round score of 78 to finish with a two-day tournament total of 159. He finished eighth overall.

The top nine finishers in the tournament advanced to the state championships. There were 112 golfers from Section IX that competed for those nine spots in the state tournament.

The first round of the Section IX tournament was held at Mansion Ridge Golf Course in Monroe, while the second round was held at Casperkill Country Club in Poughkeepsie.

Ginley and Quigley will be competing at the state tournament, which is being held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course on the campus of Cornell University. The state golf championships will be held on June 1 and 2.

Both Ginley and Quigley are two-time boys golf state championship qualifiers, the first time in Warwick boys' golf history that this has been achieved.
