Turkey Trot results

Monroe-Last Saturday's 14th annual Turkey Trot, sponsored by the Monroe Joint Parks and Recreation Commission, attracted 124 runners. The overall winner was Kyle O'Brien in 17 minutes and 31 seconds, the first female runner was Lilian Kroner in 19 minutes and 13 seconds. The commission, in releasing the results, thanked the following: the Monroe Police Department and the Monroe Ambulance for making sure the event was a safe success; Park Commissioners Ginny O'Neill, John Battaglia, Tom Welsh; Parks Manager Paul Traux; Mayor Joe Mancuso; and Ken Cashmen.
