Travel soccer tryouts coming up

Goshen —The Goshen Soccer Club will hold travel soccer tryouts for the 2006-07 season from 9 a.m. to noon on two Saturdays, June 3 and 10, at Land o’ Goshen Park on Craigville Road. Only one tryout, which takes about one hour, is needed. Players from any town may participate. Players should wear cleats and shin guards, bring water, and report to the back soccer field. The only information required at this time are the player’s name, address, telephone number, and birthdate. Divisions are Under-8 (born Aug. 1, 1998, through July 31, 1999) up through Under-14 (born Aug. 1, 1992, through July 31, 1993). The next Goshen Soccer Club meeting, open to all interested people, will be held on Wednesday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Goshen High School (Room A104). Officers and trustees will be elected at this meeting.
