    Goshen —The following Goshen Central High School Fall 2004 Varsity Student/Athletes helped their team qualify for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar/Athlete Team Award. To earn this distinction, each varsity sport has a required number of student/athletes that must have a cumulative team grade-point average of 90 percent or higher. • Boys Varsity Cross Country — Mathias Andersen, Matt Koennecke, Zach Grieb, Nathaniel Crossley, Mushfique Ahmed, George McBride, and Jim McCormack. Coaches: John Conklin and Andy Krish. Team composite grade-point average: 93.202. • Boys Varsity Soccer — Kevin Suehnholz, Anthony Cestaro, Joe Pereira, Christopher Alders, Mike Lavell, Max Jordan, Tim Anderson, Matt Siracusa, Alec Parker, Rob Burnett, Ryan Begany, and Pat Carlucci.
