The champion Kentucky Wildcats
The Kentucky Wildcats of the Warwick Little Leagues Minor 2 Girls Division (9/10 years) entered the playoffs with an undefeated record (12-0). In the finals held June 14, the Wildcats defeated the Arizona Sun Devils behind the pitching of Alex Fogg by the score of 9-5 to become the 2012 Minor 2 Division Champions. The team finished the year at 15-0. Members of the team, which is sponsored by Lisas Cookie Shop, are, from left to right beginning in the front row: Tessa Cunningham, Gabriella Bezares, Alex Fogg, Simone Schultz and Taylor Vicciardo; and in the back row: Eleanor Glover, Haylee Rivera, Julia Leary, Shannon McNally, Brooke ORegan and Emily Stein.
