The 10U OC Bombers are the Mahwah Memorial Day softball champions

MAHWAH, N.J. — The 10U OC Bombers won the Mahwah, N.J., Memorial Day softball championship last weekend, winning five games without a loss over two days.
The Bombers are a 10 and under girls travel softball team whose members come from Warwick, Middletown, Minisink and Goshen.
The team allowed a mere three runs the entire weekend and were led on the pitching circle by Olivia Martino, Etta Garofalo and Jazmin Mejia.
The Bomber's team batting average for the weekend was .477 overall. The offense was led by Eva Garofalo, Ryin Perico, Jazmin Mejia and Olivia Martino.
This is back-to-back tournament wins for this team, which won the Frozen Ropes Gold Rush Tournament on Mother's Day weekend.
The Bombers will be headed to the Youth Nationals in Kentucky on July 5 through 13.
The team is coached by Charlotte Garofalo , Jason Moore, Jason Martino and Joe Platero.
