Swimmer Sara Winston named M-W's Nov. 3rd athlete of the week

Central Valley - Sara Winston, a member of the Monroe-Woodbury Girls Varsity Swim Team, was named the school’s athlete of the week for Nov. 3. Winston is coached by Justin Wright and has been on the team for four years. She is a member of the school’s record-holding 200- and 400-yard Free Relay teams. Just recently at the O.C.I.A.A Championships, Winston finished fourth in the 50 Free, sixth in the 100 Free and third and sixth respectively in her two relay events. The team traveled to Valley Central last weekend for the Section IX Championships, where Winston looked to qualify for her third consecutive New York State meet.
