Swimmer Egan Danaher is the Warwick Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week

WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School is proud to select senior swimmer Egan Danaher as this week's Bill Garcia Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.
Egan is a three-year aquatics athlete and one of Warwick’s top swimmers, excelling in the 100 free and 100 backstroke.
Egan and his teammates have accomplished 200 best times since the first meet of the year and will compete to place in the Orange County Swim Championships in mid-February.
Egan has an academic average above 88 and will be a scholar–athlete for swimming this winter recognized by the NYSPHSAA Scholar–Athlete Recognition program.
Egan plans to major in sports analytics with a concentration in sports management. He has been accepted to Iona College and Mt. St. Mary’s of Maryland.
Egan is the son of Kerry and Michael Danaher of Warwick. His brother Will is a sophomore at Warwick Valley High School and his sister Brigid is in the eighth grade.
