WARWICK — The St. Stephen's seventh-grade girls CYO basketball team opened up its season with four wins this weekend to take first place at the Wayne PAL Thanksgiving Shootout.
St. Stephen's defeated Westfield Blue in the championship game by a score of 57-51.
The team opens its regular season on Dec. 2 with a home game against St. Patrick's at 11:45 a.m. at Gym Ratz Performance.
