Softball extends registration

Central Valley — A makeup registration date for the Monroe Woodbury Girls’ Softball League will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at the Central Valley Elementary School cafeteria. If a player was not registered last year, a copy of their birth certificate will be required. Registration forms can be downloaded from mwgsl.org/Registration/RegForm06.pdf. To guarantee a playing spot and avoid late registration fees, completed forms should be brought to the event, or mailed in with payment by Thursday, Jan. 12. The league will hold clinics for all age groups. Clinics will be limited to the first 75 girls, per date, and run by Frozen Ropes of Chester. Clinics are free to registered players on a first-come first-serve basis. A list of dates and times is posted at www.mwgsl.org.
