Soccer and hot dogs

Florida Youth Soccer held it’s first annual recreational soccer kick-off barbecue on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Glenmere Park in Florida. Parents and children met their coaches, received their uniforms and ate hotdogs and hamburgers. The league consists of players as young as four up to grade six. The barbecue was organized by Doug Wood, John Gardiner and Colleen Wierzbicki. The season starts Sept. 16. For more pictures of the barbecue, log onto www.fysny.com.
