Runner Jeremy Platt-Strack named Warwick Valley High School's Student Athlete of the Week

WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School is proud to select senior track star Jeremy Platt–Strack as this week's Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Student–Athlete of the Week.
Jeremy is a three-season track athlete (Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track) and a part of the Section IX Champion Boys Cross Country Team.
Jeremy has personal bests of 1:58 in the 800M, 22.6 in the 200M and his time of 1:27 in the 600M was the top time in the Division II.
Jeremy is an outstanding student with a GPA of 95 who has taken a challenging course load including AP Biology, OCCC Calculus, AP Government and University Spanish for college credit.
He plans to pursue a degree in Spanish and has narrowed his college choices to University of Rochester, Northeastern, Lehigh and Binghamton.
Jeremy is the son of Bill Strack and Jess Platt of Warwick.
