Registration opens for new youth lacrosse league

WARWICK — A new recreational youth lacrosse league, WV Wildcats Youth Lacrosse, is accepting online registration for the spring 2014 season.

The new league is open to boys and girls of all skill levels in grades one through eight who reside in Warwick, Chester, Greenwood Lake, Florida and surrounding communities.

The program will focus on skills development, sportsmanship, integrity and equity for players, as well as providing opportunities for parental involvement.

The registration fee is $175 per child for grades 3-8 and $75 per child in the K-2 Clinic Division.

A discount of $25 will be applied for each additional family registration.

Registration is open through Feb. 28.

WV Wildcats Lacrosse is a member of U.S. Lacrosse and the Mid-Hudson Youth Lacrosse League.

The league is managed by a Board of Directors elected by the members/parents annually.
