WARWICK — Warwick Girls Lacrosse, Inc., a new girls athletic program in Warwick, is accepting registration for girls in grades Kindergarten-8th grade. The girl’s lacrosse program has been in existence for many years but was a division of the boy’s youth lacrosse program.More than 80 girls last seasonThe girl’s division grew to more than 80 girls last season with the help of Warwick Youth Lacrosse and Warwick Valley Wildcats Lacrosse. The boy’s program has been an integral part in helping the girl’s lacrosse division this past year, however due to the growth and awareness of the girl’s lacrosse program in our communities, the girls have become their own organization. “Our goal is to increase the awareness of the fastest growing sport in our country to this community," said Summer Mangels, president of Warwick Girls Lacrosse. "We want our players to increase their confidence, make friends, have fun and improve their athleticism."Warwick Girls Lacrosse registration is now open.
