Register for Goshen Youth Football and Cheerleading

GOSHEN — Registration for Goshen Youth Football and Cheerleading will be held in the C.J. Hooker Middle School cafeteria according to the following schedule

6:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 6

9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 21

Fees for both football and cheerleading are:

$155 for one child plus $25 in raffle tickets (not exceeding $25 per family)

$255 for two children $325 for three children

The program is open to boys and girls who live in the town or village of Goshen, the village of Florida, or the Goshen Central School District.

The divisions for football and cheerleading are assigned as follows, based upon the child’s age as of Nov. 30:

Mighty Mites, ages 6-7: No weight limit for football

Division I ages 8-9: 120-pound weight limit for football

Division II, ages 10-11: 135-pound weight limit for football

Division III, ages 12-13: 155-pound weight limit for football

Players and cheerleaders must attend registration to get fitted for equipment. The documents needed for registration include a photocopy of the child's birth certificate, proof of residency, and a medical release form found at www.GYFLonline.com.

Practices begin on Aug. 1. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays throughout September and October.
