Register for football, cheerleading

Chester — The Chester Youth Football and Cheerleading League will be holding registration on the following dates: • Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Maple Street Gym (at the old high school) • Thursday, Feb. 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Chester Senior Center on Kings Highway. The division for boys and girls are: • Mighty Mites — ages 6 and 7 • Division 1 — ages 8 and 9 • Division 2 — ages 10 and 11 • Division 3 — ages 12 and 13 (14 after Aug. 1) New registrants need to bring a copy of their birth certificate. Fees vary according to division, and a work bond is required. Checks only will be accepted. An open board of directors meeting will follow the Feb. 16 sign-up.
