Rally for a Cure golf tournament to benefit breast cancer foundation

    MONTGOMERY—The Women’s Thursday Night Recreational League, along with Winding Hills Golf Course, will present a Rally for a Cure Golf Tournament on Monday, Oct. 2 in support of the mission of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The tournament begins with check-in and lunch at 11 a.m. and will follow a scramble format. A shot-gun tee-off will take place at 12:30 p.m. and play will occur rain or shine. Participants should register in advance by Thursday, Sept. 7. Proper golf attire is required — soft spikes only. The fee for this event is $75, which includes greens fees, golf cart, prizes, lunch and an after-play reception. A cash bar will be available.
