Primo FC ends seasons as one of the top boys U12 teams

FLORIDA — Primo FC, the boys U12 soccer team that draws players from Monroe, New Windsor, Goshen, Warwick and other communities, completed the 2012-13 season as one of the top ranked team in the state, region and country.

Based out of Primo Sports Center in the Village of Florida, this team of 11- and 12-year-old players is coached by Jim LaGarde and Chris Shust.

Here’s a summary of the team’s accomplishments:

2012 NY State Cup Finalist
2012-2013 NY State Premier League Champions- Division 1

2012 Manhattan Classic Champions

2013 Manhattan Classic Finalists

2013 Memorial Day East Fishkill Champions

2013 Central Jersey Invitational Champions- Top Flight

And according to rankings by the Web site GotSoccer.com, here’s how Primo FC stands:

New York State: 4th
Region 1: 23rd

National: 49th
“These are truly amazing group of boys, defeating all the odds,” Lagarde, the head coach, said in his press release enumerating the team’s success, “and now are one of the top teams in the country.”
