‘Polo Cross' tournament held at Colonies Farm in Warwick

Warwick - Lacrosse on horseback, “Polo Cross,” is a fast, highly skilled and rapidly growing equestrian sport throughout the world. It’s also right here in Warwick. The sport, a combination of polo and lacrosse, is new to the United States but there are about half a dozen players from Warwick who practice throughout the year and compete in tournaments. On Saturday and Sunday, July 8 - 9, players from as far away as Texas came to the Colonies Farm in Warwick to compete against each other and the Warwick riders in this exciting sport.
