Orange County team wins big in Connecticut

Branford, Conn. — The Frozen Ropes Maroon 12U travel baseball team captured the 12U Championship in the coveted Triple Crown Tournament held in Branford, Conn. on July 20 and 21. By winning their Triple Crown event, the Frozen Ropes team qualifies for the national tournament. Frozen Ropes Maroon defeated the Mid-Hudson Tigers 9-1 in Sunday's championship game and also collected a 10-2 win over the North Attleboro Diamond Devils and defeated the Mid-Hudson Tigers 6-5.
