Nehal Ajmal chosen Warwick Valley High School's Student-Athlete of the Week

Warwick. The four-year tennis player will graduate as the 2020 Class valedictorian.

Warwick High School is proud to select senior Nehal Ajmal as this week’s Bill Garcia Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.

Nehal completed a four-year tennis career for the Wildcats; the team finished the season as Division Champions.

Nehal is the vice president of the Creative Writing Club, Member of the Orange County Academic League (OCAL), Stage Crew, Interact Club and G.S.A. She is also the AP Physical Education basketball knock out class champion.

Nehal was selected valedictorian for the class of 2020 with a weighted grade point average of 103.69. She will graduate Warwick high school with more than 30 college eligible credits in algebra, trigonometry, calculus, Spanish, biology and multiple courses in government/ history.

Nehal plans to major in neuroscience with a minor in Spanish and English. She has narrowed her college choices to Vassar and Georgetown.

Nehal is the daughter of Saima and Muhammad of Warwick. She has a sister Azka (freshman at WVHS) and brother Daniaal (6th Grade).
