Live ringers in Village of Florida

The Village of Florida Recreation Committee held its annual horse shoe tournament on Sept. 24 at the Park at Glenmere Lake. Organized by Jim Goodrich, the double elimination tournament attracted 14 teams as well as a good number of spectators. Third-place winners were Arthur Canevari and Ron Pauze; second place went to Ray Horton and Geoff Williams; and the first-place bragging rights were enjoyed by Billy Brown and “Wild Bill” Schwander.
