Little league holds final registration

Goshen — Final registration for Goshen Little League’s 2006 season for T-ball, boys baseball, and girls softball will be held from 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the C.J. Hooker Middle School cafeteria Registration packages have been mailed to past members. Registration forms must be mailed in by Wednesday, Nov. 15, or turned in at this registration. Registration fees for the 2006 season are: $60 for ages 5 to 8 years, $70 for ages 9 and 10 years, $80 for ages 11 and 12, and $90 for ages 13 years and up. The maximum family payment is $200. The age group a child is assigned to is determined by the age of the child on April 30, 2006 (for baseball) and December 31, 2005 (for softball). The Little League International board of directors has mandated this change. New members need to submit copies of a birth certificate and proof of residency, which can be either a utility bill showing a Goshen address, a school tax bill, or proof that the player is a student of one of the Goshen School District Schools. St. John’s and Burke students are not eligible to play unless they are a resident of the Town or Village of Goshen. No cash will be accepted. For further information, call 291-1378.
