Saturday, Nov. 4 Freedom Air (Montgomery) vs. On Cloud 9 Massage Therapy (New Windsor) Final Score: Freedom Air 5, On Cloud 9 Massage Therapy 2 Freedom Air’s goals were scored by Rachel Boccard, Maureen Connolly, Maureen Ferrara, Cathy Thompson and Jennifer Davis. Sunday, Nov. 5 Gary Goldberg Financial Services (Suffern) vs. SKB Group Inc. (Cornwall-on-Hudson) Final Score: Gary Goldberg Financial Services 4, SKB Group Inc 3 Gary Goldberg Financial Services and SKB Group Inc. met for the last time on the field during the Fall Season. Initially, each team played down one player, for a total of six. A seventh player was added to each team later in the game. SKB Group Inc. had no substitutes to relieve their players, while GGFS had two. GGFS’s goals were scored by Jaime Pitingaro (2), Laura Farley (1) and Sarah Farina (1), off a penalty kick. A good, fair game was played by both teams. Precision Roofing (Monroe) vs. Schlesinger’s Steak House (New Windsor) Final Score: Precision Roofing 2, Schlesinger’s Steak House 0 Precision Roofing came on strong with an early goal by Sarah Joehl assisted by Jacy Smith. Schlesinger’s Steak House stepped up their assault, but Precision Roofing’s defense held them at bay. First-half goalie Angie Trzepowski led a very formidable Precision Roofing defense of Vanessa Biscone, Vanessa Moschetto, Amanda Diaz, Jennifer Wilken and Linda Dolansky. In the second half, with Khim Wiley as keeper for Precision Roofing, Schlesinger’s Steak House still was shut out. A second goal came when Angie Trzepowski took a shot off the far post. A great game played by both teams. Thanks to all of the team sponsors, whose support is greatly appreciated. The Orange County Soccer League Women’s Recreational Soccer will be holding registration for the indoor season from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29 and Monday, Dec. 4, at Dunkin Donuts on Route 94, Washingtonville. Registration may also be completed via mail, by downloading the necessary registration forms from the league Web site, to be submitted to the P.O. Box address provided, along with a registration fee of $50. Online registration ends Friday, Dec. 15. There will be an additional $15 fee for late registration. The Orange County Soccer League Women’s Recreational Soccer indoor season will span ten weeks, beginning on Friday, Jan. 5.
